PMC3 How to make a Pendant Part 1

use on your hands to keep the clay from sticking to them.

use on the mold or any surface the clay will be on.

Making a pendant is fairly easy using PMC3. The main thing to keep in mind is pmc3 will dry out quickly in air. First select a mold or your own design. You then need to lubricate the mold and your hands so the clay does not stick to the mold or your hands. Take off only as much clay as you will need for the mold and put the remainder back right away. This clay loses its ability to be formed fairly quickly so it is important to have everything set up ahead of time.

Pick a mold and add cool slip or you can use olive oil. Push clay into mold and put excess back in pouch. Use a texture plate or even a piece of tree bark to make a pattern on the back. If you don't like the texture after it dries you can use slip and a small paint brush to cover it over. (After you sand and refine your dried piece save the sandings and add water to make slip.)
